What our guests say
I spent 11 nights at Mark and Elma's lodge. It is a fantastic place to stay. Mark and Elma are warm and engaging hosts, the set-up is perfect for cyclists... read more and walkers, the location is wonderfully tranquil and Elma's cooking is divine. Les Deux Velos offers tremendous value and convivial company with the hosts and fellow travellers. If you are thinking of cycling in the area, consider the terrific value road bike hire they offer.

We are keen cyclists and were planning a week in the Pyrennes where we waned to spend 3 days cycling. We went through various options whether to drive down with... read more bikes etc. My husband found les deux velo on line and communicated via email with Mark who was incredibly helpful, advising on routes we would find suitable, bike fitting, equipment. We flew to Toulouse and then had an easy drive of approximately a couple of hours to the cycle lodge where we arrived in time for an amazing dinner that Elma had prepared and enjoyed the company of other guests. Mark fitted us for our bikes the following morning then we were straight out cycling. The Col de Port is a breathtakingly beautiful cycle with a gradual gradient and a gateway to all the stunning routes you can take in the area. the restaurant at the top was a delight with incredible views. We had some fantastic weather, incredible cycling and lovely lunches in the local bars/restaurants. We felt very welcome by Elma and Mark, breakfast and dinner were always excellent, the lodge very comfortable, excellent bikes and a hassle free way to get a few days of cycling in such an incredibly beautiful area of France. Service, location and value all 5 stars - unable to click to rate location, value on hotel ratings.

Happened upon this quaint spot on our trans Pyrennese bike ride in May 2012. It's 2k west of Massat. Hosts Mark and Elma did us proud. Dried our... read more clothes, fed us well and even provided evening entertainment and a few gasses of wine, beer and their special pear schnapps! We had our own bikes but they have some super carbon velos for hire, even up to 64cm! Ukulele lessons free too. I would plan it into your itinerary. Rod
